Originally from Edinburgh, Alison graduated from University of Glasgow with MA (Hons) and LLB and gained her Diploma in Legal Practice from University of Edinburgh. She moved to the Highlands to take up traineeship in Dingwall. For over 20 years Alison was a court lawyer dealing with mostly criminal defence work. Since 2019 she changed focus and been assisting clients in relation to Powers of Attorney, Wills and Executry Administration including inheritance tax planning.
Outside of work, Alison is enjoys being outdoors, whether in her working in her garden, the Highland countryside, or a local beer garden! She has a keen interest in politics and is a big fan of Ross County football club.
