At Innes & Mackay we take great pride in supporting and engaging with the local communities in which we provide our services. We’re committed to supporting local sporting teams, organisations, local projects and charities with funding, legal advice and more.
It is no secret that our founders Charles Innes and William Mackay were dedicated to the improvement and development of the Highlands and Islands. Today the team at Innes & Mackay shares the same commitment to improving and developing Highland and Island communities.

Lending a Helping Hand
We’re thrilled to be supporting a variety of local sports teams and charity events. We are committed to lending a helping hand in any way we can.
In recent years we have proudly sponsored Drakies Primary School football team, helped to provide at least £500 worth of gifts to the MFR Cash for Kids Mission Christmas Appeal each year, and had the pleasure of sponsoring a dancer for the past five years at Inverness’ very own Strictly Come Dancing extravaganza, with Director Ewan Donald having entered the competition and danced in 2018 raising vital funds for the Highland Hospice.
We have also sponsored awards such as the Primary Pupil of the Year award at the Highland Heroes Awards in 2022 at the Kingsmill Hotel.
Youth support is something that we advocate for often, and as part of that we sponsor several youth sports teams. We’re proud to be helping provide opportunities for more young people in our communities to get involved in sports.
As well as supporting the Drakie Primary school team, we sponsored Glen Urquhart Shinty Club’s junior teams to fund the purchase of new strips for all youth teams. The teams provide sporting opportunities to primary and secondary school pupils.
You’ll be pleased to learn that although we’re passionate about supporting aspiring athletes our sponsorships don’t have an age limit! We like to show our support for adult sports teams and individual athletes too.
Most recently the team at Innes & Mackay has sponsored games being held at The Dell Kingussie. This includes a pitch-side sponsorship board with the Innes & Mackay logo, one of 70 that surround the pitch.
Supporting the Arts
The Innes & Mackay team also donates to the Nairn Gaelic Choir to help raise awareness for a language that has so much cultural significance in the Highlands and Islands.
