Our family law team have years of experience with issues within the home, such as separation, divorce and child contact.
We recognise the importance of being able to source support and comfort while going through these times within your life and would like to take the opportunity to highlight an incredible local resource, which is free to access.
Relationships Scotland are there to support Families affected by separation.
Family separation is never easy but has been made even harder by COVID-19.
Relationships Scotland – Family Mediation Highland is now able to offer a range of on-line and telephone services.
These services include:
- A Digital PostBox for parents who would like to be able to update one another about their children, or pass on photos and videos to children and from children, but without having to share their own personal contact details
- Mediation via Zoom (video call) to assist parents to work out arrangements, improve communication and co-parenting.
- Counselling support for children and young people aged 5 – 18. Indirect support is being offered via parents for children age 5 – 11. Direct support is available by phone and WhatsApp for young people aged 12-18.
Times are tough for many at the moment and it is important to seek help and support if you need it – a friendly local service such as Relationships Scotland is a great place to start.
