At the latter end of 2019, the team attended the prestigious Herald Law Awards for Scotland in Glasgow and we are extremely proud to have been nominated in not one, but two categories for 2019.

The Herald Awards, first established in 2004, recognise and reward the best in-house teams, individuals, and firms across Scotland, and highlight the excellent quality of work that is being undertaken throughout these teams and their members.

Lisa Law, Director of Innes & Mackay, was nominated for Solicitor of the Year. Nominees for this award are required to show significant evidence in their legal skills and services, and their ability to provide an innovative approach with clients. Given the criteria for nomination, it comes with a sense of prestige and shows the attention to detail that our solicitors adhere to, giving the people of the Highlands the best possible experience when dealing with Innes & Mackay.

Innes & Mackay also received a nomination for the Corporate Social Responsibility Award. This category is open to firms, in-house teams or legal organisations that are able to demonstrate a ‘clear commitment to corporate social responsibility’, an important aspect of any business. We received a special commendation within the CSR award category which we were absolutely thrilled to receive.

The team continuously go over and above for our clients to ensure they receive the utmost care and guidance, and it is always an honour to have hard work and dedication recognised. We look forward to continuing with this high standard of care in 2020 and seeing what the year brings the team.
