After obtaining an Economics degree at Edinburgh University, Ken enjoyed a 20-year career in Business Banking with roles based in Edinburgh, Shetland, Inverness, Manchester and Liverpool, attaining Chartered Banker status.
In 2018, Ken returned to the Highlands with his family and became self-employed for 5 years, setting up Kintail Finance from offices in the centre of Inverness, providing specialist lending and private client services to small businesses in the Highlands.
Ken joined Innes & Mackay in 2024 as a Private Client Assistant, undertaking Executry Administration, Wills and Power of Attorney instructions.
He became a STEP Affiliate after obtaining the STEP Certificate in Trusts & Estate Planning.
Outside of work Ken enjoys golf, tennis, rugby and football (mainly an armchair fan nowadays), spending time with his family, and visiting real ale pubs.
